Travelling by train is a less expensive option than a flight or a cruise ship, but it can offer site seeing that neither of the two can provide. If your stomach does not get queasy easily and if you love the countryside and do not mind taking a few days to get to destination, then travelling by train is an excellent choice and it is very easy on the pocketbook.
