Climate change sure has affected my trekking activities for the past two months - I'm planning to stay at some Carribean tourist hot spots this week but, weather abnormalities are reaching a boiling point close to peeling your skin with extreme UV rays. Honestly, I will not sacrifice any melanin-related disease for a lifestyle.
Then there's my alternative. I'm trying to reach this place called Baguio in the northern parts of the Philippines. The place has been called the Summer Capital of the Philippines and for good reason: the scorching madness does not seem to affect the place enveloped by towering pine trees.
For my next trip, I'm going to let my travel buddy
write my essay for me. He's not coming along so it's up to him to chronicle some parts of his adventure on our personalized travel log. She's off to Rio de Janeiro this weekend and I know, the Olympics is still six years away from now.
Going back to Baguio, I will be having to endure nauseating uphill commuting trips and a unexpected cold summer. For me, everyday is summer because of this intense heat we are suffering right now. More Asian delicacies for me and a parcel of jackets - testing Baguio's spine-chilling cold is a new challenge that I must brave.
As a sneak peak, I've posted an image about the city's misty facade.
